Getting started

Install Idle Logout, enable it in settings, and publish so inactive members are signed out.

Idle Logout automatically signs out inactive site members after a warning. It does not sign out Wix account owners or dashboard collaborators.

What you get

Idle Logout dashboard page — enable the app, choose 5 / 15 / 30 / 60 minutes, save, and preview the warning.
Embedded script (essential, end of body) — tracks idle time on the published site and calls native member logout.

Setup

Install Idle Logout and Wix Members Area on the site.
Open Idle Logout in the site dashboard.
Turn enable on, pick a timeout (default 15 minutes), click Save.
Publish the site. If you update the app later, open this page and save again.
Sign in as a site member and wait through the idle window (or use ?idleLogoutTest=1 on a test site).

Limits

This is browser-side. It cannot sign someone out while the browser is closed, revoke other devices, or run if JavaScript is blocked.
