1. Who we are
CMS for Harmony is a Wix app that adds CMS-powered widgets (Table, Repeater, Slideshow, Media Gallery, Calendar, Dynamic Page, and Form) to Wix sites, including Wix Harmony. This site is the product landing page and app manager companion for the app.

2. Scope
This policy covers:
- Site owners who install or use the CMS for Harmony app on a Wix site
- Visitors who browse this marketing / docs site
- Site owners who connect Google Sheets as a Pro External database (including Sign in with Google)
Your Wix site may also collect visitor data under your privacy policy. Wix’s own processing is governed by Wix’s policies. This document explains what we do as the app developer.
3. Information we collect
3.1 App install and lifecycle
When the app is installed, updated, billed, or uninstalled, we may receive and store app instance identifiers, site URL, plan / billing metadata, app version, and related lifecycle event details so we can operate the product, send transactional emails, and measure reliability.
3.2 Feedback and support
If you submit feedback on this site or email us, we collect the information you provide (such as name, email, message, and optional site URL) to respond and improve the product.
3.3 Website analytics and logs
Like most sites, our hosting platform may process standard request logs (for example IP address, user agent, and timestamps) for security, debugging, and operations. We also use Google Analytics (gtag.js) on this marketing site to understand aggregated traffic and usage. Google may set cookies or similar technologies and process device and usage data as described in Google’s privacy policy.
3.4 Google user data (External databases)
If you use Sign in with Google to connect a Google Sheet, we access Google user data only as needed to provide that feature. See Google user data below.
4. How we use information
- Provide, secure, and improve CMS for Harmony
- Power Pro External databases (read Google Sheets content you choose to connect and display it in supported widgets)
- Send install, uninstall, review-reminder, and product-update emails
- Respond to support and feedback
- Comply with law and enforce our terms
We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell personal information.
5. Sharing, transfer, and disclosure
We share, transfer, or disclose information only in the limited ways below. We do not sell Google user data or other personal information.
5.1 Service providers / processors
- Wix — The app and this site run on Wix. Connection metadata, CMS collections, Secrets Manager entries (for OAuth tokens), and hosting/logs are processed on Wix infrastructure as needed to run the product.
- Google — When you authorize Sign in with Google, we call Google APIs (Sheets / Drive as scoped) using your tokens to list and read the spreadsheets you select. Google processes those requests under Google’s terms and policies. Separately, Google Analytics on this site processes traffic data as our analytics provider.
- Email delivery — Transactional emails may be sent through Wix email / related mailer infrastructure.
5.2 Your site visitors
Spreadsheet content you connect as an External database is displayed on your Wix site through CMS for Harmony widgets (subject to your site’s design and permissions). That is the purpose of the feature: publishing sheet-backed content you choose to show.
5.3 Legal and safety
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, or security of users, the public, or our services.
5.4 Business transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to continued confidentiality commitments consistent with this policy.
5.5 What we do not do with Google user data
- We do not sell Google user data
- We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements or for independent analytics products unrelated to the External databases feature
- We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as described above (processors needed to operate the feature, display on your site, or legal requirements)
6. Google user data
This section applies when a site owner uses Sign in with Google for Pro External databases (Google Sheets). Other connect methods (Share with app / Public link) do not use the site owner’s Google OAuth tokens.
6.1 Data accessed
- Basic Google account identity needed to complete OAuth (for example account email shown in the connect flow)
- List of Google Spreadsheet files the account can access (so you can pick a sheet)
- Spreadsheet structure and cell values for the sheet/tab you connect (to map columns and render widgets)
Access is limited to the OAuth scopes shown on the Google consent screen. Today the app requests read-only Sheets and Drive scopes sufficient to list and read spreadsheets; it does not create, edit, or delete spreadsheet content in your Google account.
6.2 How Google user data is stored
- OAuth refresh / access tokens — stored securely in Wix Secrets Manager for the app instance, referenced by an External Connections record
- Connection metadata — spreadsheet id, tab, display name, column/field mapping, and status stored in the app’s External Connections data collection for that Wix site
- Sheet values — read to power widgets on the site; not sold or used for advertising
6.3 Google API Services User Data Policy
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
7. Retention and deletion
7.1 How long we keep data
- Google OAuth tokens and sheet connections — retained while the External database connection remains active on your site so widgets can continue to load sheet data
- Lifecycle / install records — retained as needed to operate billing awareness, support, security, and product analytics, and for legal compliance
- Feedback submissions — retained as needed to handle your request and improve the product
7.2 How to delete Google user data
You can delete Google-connected data as follows:
- Disconnect in the app — In the CMS for Harmony dashboard, open External databases and disconnect the Google Sheets connection. Disconnecting deletes the stored OAuth secret for that connection and removes the connection record so the app can no longer access that sheet via your Google account.
- Revoke access in Google — In your Google Account → Security → Third-party access, revoke CMS for Harmony. After revocation, existing tokens stop working; also disconnect in the app so local secrets are removed.
- Uninstall the app — Uninstalling CMS for Harmony from the Wix site ends product access for that instance. Contact us if you need confirmation that Google connection secrets associated with your instance were removed.
- Email request — Email apps@thewixwiz.com with your site URL / instance details to request deletion of Google user data or other personal data we hold. We will respond within a reasonable period.
7.3 Other deletion requests
For access, correction, or deletion requests about personal data we process as the app developer, contact apps@thewixwiz.com. We may need enough information to verify the request and locate the relevant records.
8. Security
We use platform controls appropriate to the data: privileged access to connection records, Secrets Manager for OAuth tokens, and HTTPS for application traffic. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we work to protect data within the Wix platform capabilities available to the app.
9. Children
CMS for Harmony is directed to site owners and businesses, not to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app or this site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy where permitted by law.
