Architecture and interior design sites need a project archive that stays current as work ships — without rebuilding layouts by hand.
Highlights: Repeater list → native dynamic page → Dynamic Page + Media Gallery on each project.
1. Model Projects
Create a Projects collection with fields such as:
- Title, Location, Year, Typology (residential, commercial, …)
- Cover image, short summary, long description (rich text)
- Media Gallery for construction photos, drawings, or finished shots
Choose More actions → Add collection page so each project gets a page URL. Note the page path.
2. Project index (Repeater)
On a Portfolio page, add Repeater, connect Projects, and map cover, title, location, and summary. Use a grid layout. Enable Dynamic Page links on the card or a “View project” button.
3. Project detail (Dynamic Page)
On that native collection page, add Dynamic Page, connect Projects, and choose a layout (Hero or Split work well). Set Page path to the page path and Page link field to Item slug. Map title, summary, body, and cover.
4. Project gallery (Media Gallery)
On the same detail page, add Media Gallery connected to the project’s Media Gallery field so visitors browse the full set of images.
5. Publish
Open a project from the grid and confirm the URL, SEO fields, and gallery. Editors add new projects in the CMS; the portfolio updates automatically.
