Catalog payments let visitors Add to cart or Buy now on collection items. The catalog comes from your CMS fields — not Wix Stores products — and checkout uses the site’s Wix cart and checkout.
Form pay-on-submit is separate — see Form payments.
Use case examples
- Product Repeater — Cards with price and Add to cart.
- Table inventory — Action columns for Buy now.
- Item page — Dynamic Page with checkout CTAs for the current item.
- Gallery / Slideshow — Payment actions in the lightbox or on each slide.
Requirements
- A plan that unlocks Payments (cart and checkout). Sites without it see an upgrade prompt in the panel and dashboard.
- A collection with at least a Name field and a Price field (number).
- Payment CTAs only work on the live site (not in the Editor preview).
- Wix CMS collections only — external databases do not support catalog payments.
Enable payments on a collection
In the CMS for Harmony dashboard:
- Open the collection’s ⋯ menu and choose Enable payments.
- Map Name field and Price field (required). Optionally map Description, Image, and Quantity.
- Use + Create new field… if you need to add a field without leaving the modal.
- Save. The collection shows a Payments badge. Use Edit catalog or Remove catalog later from the same menu.
You can also start Enable payments from a widget’s Payments section when the collection is not a catalog yet.
Show Add to cart / Buy now on displays
Supported widgets: Repeater, Table, Dynamic Page, Media Gallery (lightbox), and Slideshow (per slide).
Where: Settings → Payments on the display
- Connect the collection that has catalog payments enabled.
- Turn on Show payment actions.
- Choose Add to cart, Buy now, or both; set button labels and styling.
- For Add to cart, set After add to cart: Nothing, Open side cart, or Go to cart page.
- Publish and test on the live site.
Buy now adds the item and redirects to Wix Checkout. Add to cart uses the current cart (and optional side cart / cart page).
Notes
- Calendar does not include catalog payment CTAs.
- Catalog payments are separate from Wix Stores product catalogs — items stay in your CMS collection with a catalog field mapping.
